We raise pedigree Oxford Sandy and Black pigs. These are a traditional breed that is renowned for the taste and quality of it's meat. They are able to roam outdoor all year round and love to wallow in mud holes on warm days, whilst snuggling up together in large arks in the winter.
We are members of the British Pig Association and the Oxford Sandy & Black Society.
Oxford Sandy & Black pigs are one of the oldest breeds of pigs in Britain. They date back at least two hundred years, believed to have originated in Oxfordshire. They are recognised by the Rare Breed Survival Trust and have come close to extinction on a number of occasions. Fortunately, the taste of their outstanding meat is now recognised and has caused an upturn in demand.
